Collaboration Ahikoza X Arpita Mehta

Aficionados of exotic, locally-produced leather bags must already be familiar with Ahizoka. The brand’s top-shelf bags and clutches, with its signature symmetrical designs, are indeed to die for.

The beauty of leather is how it can be easily reproduced into a myriad of fashionable products. Among the most noteworthy latest leather designs is a collaborative effort between Ahikoza and noted Indian designer Arpita Mehta for a traditional-meets-exotic collection.

This collaboration aims to combine my spirit with Arpita Mehta’s by bringing the essential elements of our respective brands. We came up with two signature models, The Azeline Potli and The Nammos Foldover Clutch, which feature chic mixtures of colors,’ said Namrata Karad.

A pocket-like bag designed in ethnic Indian style and typically paired with a traditional ensemble of accessories, Potli has been modernized and rebranded as “The Azeline” for this collection. Overlaid with exclusively made coral skin, the bag and its strip are available in a host of bright, exuberant colors.

Meanwhile, The Nammos Foldover clutch features compartments accentuated with a stylish gauntlet. It can also be used in three different ways and carry all your essentials in one go.

I was inspired by all these unique cultural values and personal styles. It was an honor for me to design this collection alongside Arpita Mehta. In our designs, we prioritize comfort and flexibility for our customers, added Namrata Karad.
